The Suisun City Recreation, Parks, and Marina Department is happy to offer senior programs at the Joseph Nelson Community Center. Join us for social activities, crafts, fitness, and more.

Senior Reminiscing Activities
Enjoy a positive environment where you can think, share, and listen! This series will be led by RPM Department staff from 9:30am-10:30am on the third Thursday of each month through May 2025, with different themes and activities for each session. Tablet Training
Community Tech Network will be offering free technology programs at the Joseph Nelson Community Center for the next 6 months! The first program is Tablet Training and classes meet on 1/13, 1/15, 1/22, and 1/27 from 9:30am-11:30am. Pre-registration is required by 1/7. If seniors DO NOT have a tablet, they will sign up by calling Independent Living Resources at (707)435-8174. Beat the Room Day Trip
On Friday 1/17, the RPM Department will be taking a senior day trip to 'Beat the Room' in Vacaville, an escape room experience filled with puzzles, secrets, and codes. Pre-registration is required, and the cost to attend is $30. You are able to register at suisun.recdesk.com. Winter Dinner Dance
Join us on Thursday 1/30 from 5:00pm-8:00pm for the Senior Winter Dinner Dance event. It will be a fun 'Winter Wonderland' themed event with free food, music, and dancing. Senior Lounge
Drink coffee, read a book, or chat with friends at the lounge every weekday from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Lunch (Ages 60+)
Beginning July 1, 2024, Innovative Health Solutions' Congregate Meals Program will serve lunch at the Joseph Nelson Community Center every weekday at 11:30am. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance. Please contact Innovative Health Solutions at info@innovativehealths.com or 707-684-4376 to make a reservation.
