Suisun City Announces Commission and Committee Vacancies

Suisun City is looking for interested residents to serve on various commissions and committees, there are currently vacancies on the following Commissions:
Recreation, Parks, Marina and Arts Commission
The Recreation, Parks, Marina and Arts (RPMA) Commission meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the Council Chambers at Suisun City Hall. The RPMA Commission is an advisory commission to the City Council, Recreation, Parks and Marina Department, and Public Works Department regarding public parks, recreational facilities and programs, grants, applicable operational policies, unmet needs and public right-of-way beautification within Suisun City. There is currently one (1) vacancy on the RPMA Commission. The appointment is to fill an unexpired term ending January 2025.
Housing Authority Tenant Commissioners
The Housing Authority Commission is the governing board of the Housing Authority and consists of the Mayor, City Council Members, and two Tenant Commissioners. Tenant commissioners must be tenants of the Housing Authority and at least one tenant commissioner must be over 62 years of age or older. Interested Housing Authority tenants are encouraged to apply.
Interested residents are encouraged to apply by submitting an application to the City Clerk at clerk@suisun.com, stating qualifications and objectives for desiring to be become a member of a Commission or Committee. Applications are received on a continuous basis, appointments may be made as early as October 1, 2024.
