The City of Suisun City has sworn-in Marlon L. Osum to the City Council, making him the newest member of one of the most ethnically diverse City Councils in the United States. Osum, a Filipino senior, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Council. He joins Mayor Alma Hernandez, Vice Mayor Princess Washington, Amit Pal, and Jenalee Dawson, all of whom come from diverse backgrounds. The City Manager, Greg Folsom, who is an enrolled tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, also adds to the Council's diversity.
The appointment of Osum is a testament to the City's commitment to inclusivity and representation. With a diverse range of perspectives and backgrounds, the Council can better serve the community and address the unique challenges faced by its residents.
