RFP- Professional Design Services for Heritage Park Project

City of Suisun City Recreation, Parks and Marina Department (City) is requesting statements of interest, qualifications and proposals from qualified planning and design firms that are capable of providing professional design services, including initial project coordination, site analysis and surveys, public outreach, and development of a conceptual master plan, for the development of the Heritage Park Enhancement Project, located in Suisun City, California.  Heritage Park is located adjacent to the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center off of Village Drive.  Current amenities include restroom facilities, full length basketball court, challenge course, and playground.  Expected professional design services include initial project coordination, site analysis and surveys, public outreach, construction of a project master plan, construction renderings and documents, and a complete budget.   

The project will include the following:

  • Basketball Courts - Removal and reorientation of the basketball court from north-south to east-west to add an additional full court and a partial perimeter fence. 
  • Covered Picnic Pavilion – Adding a 30’x30’ concrete pad with a covered picnic pavilion and new picnic tables, removing existing picnic tables in disrepair and current concrete pad. 
  • Mini-Pitch – installing 43’x88’ concrete pad to install grant funded Mini-Pitch multi-sport court.

  • No late proposals will be considered
  • No fax or email proposals will be considered
  • Consultant must provide 3 original copies of proposal at time of submission
